Abstract

            Objectives : To develop and evaluate outcomes of a palliative care model through network partnership participation.

            Methodology : This research and development study employed participatory action research methodology, conducted from January to December 2024. The sample consisted of 70 terminal patients and 12 multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. Data were collected using standardized assessment forms, semi-structured interview and satisfaction evaluation form. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and content analysis.

            Results : The developed model comprised three main components: (1) participatory management system, (2) one-stop service system, and (3) network partnership participation. Evaluation results showed significant improvements: service accessibility increased from 56.82% to 95.71%, access opioids rates from 60% to 90%.from 60% to 90%, death-place rates as per patients' wishes increased from 30% to 75%, and patient and family satisfaction increased to 94.28% and 97.14% respectively. The number of network partners expanded from 2 to 5 organizations.

            Conclusion and Recommendations : The developed care model significantly improved palliative care efficiency. Further implementation and long-term sustainability studies are recommended.
